What happened to being able to buy tickets/seats directly from the venue without the middle man? Guess I’m old. in 2001, on a tip i went to soldier field because i was told they were releasing sum bears playoff tickets early that AM for the next day's game george mccaskey HIMSELF sold them to me but only after i convinced him i was a mere fan with my orange and blue painted bears fingernails (tickets promptly "lost" at the cubs convention early the next AM... but a good x was had by all (which is why the bears lost the game)) that is why ownership is no longer involved in ticket sales

I see some hurdles are scheduled for June 9 with the newly formed $150,000 Grade 1 Beverly R Steinman handicap at 2 3/8 miles over national hurdles. Guessing they're not running this if it rains at all over the weekend. They won't need to assign weights to my favorite warrior Snap Decision. He has run at least one race at a NYRA track for EIGHT straight years through 2023. He's entered today in the Grade 2 Temple Gwathmey at Middletown, Va. NYRA has a rule that you can't run there if you're 10 or older. I guess they don't want old claimers, but how about an old timer running in graded stakes? This also rules out 2022 Grade 1 Lonesome Glory and 2023 Grade 1 Grand National at Far Hills winner Noah And The Ark, since he's hit that way over the hill age of 10 as well.
Such BS. Let the old men jump.

I still don't understand why the Belmont had to be shortened. They could set the gates up differently like they did at AQ in '64:

I think they would find it hard to believe I need five bottles of sunscreen.

Be sure to check out #3 on the list, the Walt Whitman Brewing Co. General Manager is a good friend of ours, formerly ran the front of the house at Morton's Steakhouse. No list would be complete without mentioning the Horseshoe (Inn), whether it be before, during, or after the races. I'm sure Doc will chime in... . TW
