CUR R1- 1m1f Handicap (Premier Handicap) (3yo)
3yos were found wanting on their initial stakes tries, or have been set on a lower trajectory by connections. #4- Sharinay (2-1) is an Aga Khan runner that won on seasonal debut at Cork, then finished second to Chicago Critic which subsequently ran third in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot won by Haatem. #5- Soldier's Empire (6-1) was fifth behind Sharinay, then third in the Gowran Classic last time. Improving, might turn the tables for Ger Lyons/Colin Keane.
EX- 4,5/1,2,4,5,7

CUR R2- 6f Railway Stakes (Group 2) (2yo)
#1- Arizona Blaze (2-1) looks the one to beat in the Amo Racing colors, progressive Sergei Prokofiev colt likes the make his own way in races, won GIII over C&D two back, then ran third in the Norfolk Stakes (GII) after a tardy start. Will hope that he is a pure 5F horse and try to beat him with #3- Principality (12-1) which Richard Hannon held back from Royal Ascot for this spot, and #6- The Strikin Viking (5-1) named after Manchester City forward Earling Haaland, which won impressively on debut at York.

Better ground than yesterday? Marginally I guess. They had rain during the races yesterday and going was downgraded past yielding. Calling it Yielding, Good in places now. TW

All credit to Billy Lee for that win. And maybe the blinkers, now 2-2.

CUR R5- 1m (New) Celebration Stakes (Listed Race) (3yo+)
#9- Azada (4-5) is a deserving favorite after being pitched into the 1000 Guineas off debut win by Dermot Weld. She split the field finishing sixth, and may have wanted more cut in the ground, which she'll get today. Also using #8- Norwalk Havoc (13-1) on top in case the favorite doesn't fire, Flaxman/Harrington/Foley runner progressed nicely this season until hiccup last time in a GIII, also may have wanted softer going. Spider special!
