Loved Catching Freedom going in to the Derby, ran a decent one. Didn’t improve in Preakness and actually regressed a tad. Taking him at 9/5 or less tomorrow isn’t a good bet in my opinion. No way Batten Down is 8/1 but this horse has every right to keep improving and is a much better wager, as is Gould’s Gold. I’ll side with one of those two.

Interestingly enough if you are a thorograph user, the horse with the lowest (best) number from their last race is copper tax with a .25. Catching Freedom has paired a couple of numbers in the 3 range others not so low.
