Ex 1,2,6/1,2,3,6,8,9 Tri 1,2,6/1,2,3,8,9/1,2,3,8,9
I'm looking for a score, not just a winning ticket. Dornoch to make an easy lead , followed by STG. Hopefully one of them will kick on, if not Resilence should have a nice trip . Totally fading Mindframe.
modifying this ticket slightly mainly dropping Dornoch and adding The Wine Steward.
ex 1,2,4/1,2,3,4,8,9 tri -1,2,4/1,2,4,9/1,2,3,4,8,9
sticking with this ticket
will also play wp on The Wine Steward.

Ouch on your late change,5wide…. I feel your pain with my own….though I don’t see how anyone could use the wine steward I thought mind frame had it with an 1/8 to go before he danced to the right and back Rider fall asleep for a few seconds?

But few in the field were........which is probably why we have so few races at that distance, on dirt, and why I actually expect that race to somwhere along the line get shortened, sometime in the future. Nobody in U.S. racing even WANTS a 12F horse. We sell belmont winners off to places like turkey, japan, etc. I am just mad at myself as one of my friends who is the most thorough pedigree researcher I know, told me you MUST use all the May foals on your ticket. And........I didn't listen. So I didn't have mindframe and honor marie. While I was trying to talk him into Dornoch. He had all 3 horses. I had the winner. We both should have listened to each other LOL

Honestly, what is the point? With Belmont Park closed for at least another two years, we may never see a meaningful 12 furlong race again on dirt. nbd

Mindframe and Sierra Leonne both got a better number than Dornoch at T-Graph.

No kidding I was tied to mind frame on everything and would have scored well with the win. Heck of a time for Irad to lose focus…. imo mind frame Had never gone that far or been pushed, and when he got the lead, he thought Dornoch would cave. So he eased up a little and drifted. Catching Irad by surprise. Was coming on Again at the finish……
Oh well…….next!
What other 12 furlong dirt races are significant?

Mindframe and Sierra Leonne both got a better number than Dornoch at T-Graph. One thing TG can't measure was the will to win. Dornoch fought off StG for the first part of the race, then did the same with Mindframe in the stretch. Dornoch wasnt letting other horses by him on that day. And, indeed, they didn't get by him. Is there a TG number for the sheer tenacity that Dornoch put forth in the race? Usually when we see these kinds of showdowns and duels, it gets mentioned. It tends not to get mentioned when it is a horse that nobody gave credit to in the first place. It almost seems like when they do win, everyone resents them. they are considered a fluke. But he fought off other horses more than once, in 2 different parts of the race...not like a speed horse who had an effortless clean trip on the front end. IMHO Dornoch had to really EARN this win. The hard way. Unless there is a re-do, we will never know. These are probably 1-1/1-16th to 1-1/8 horses trying to stretch out ( with difficulty.) Not 12f ers Flightline went to the shed as only a 1-1/4 miler, didnt he?

Will to win. Give me a break. When you can find a reliable tool for measuring will to win, please share. Meantime, I’ll stick with geometry and physics.
