Imo very cheap considering the stakes involved and the colt’s history of seriously bearing in down the lane once he gets running(watch his two prior stretch runs). I can understand his grabbing the Japanese colt considering the activity between them(still a violation?).

Forever Young refused to give and held his ground, which made the bumping more pronounced, though if he lets himself get pushed left and herded, he won’t get past.

Imo with a clean run, Forever Young wins the race with Sierra Leone 2nd.

Over and done—credit to B Hernandez for guiding the necessary dream trip.

i finally went back and looked at the 2009 derby replay.
