Oaks Figs Comparison & Picks

I was very intrigued by a figure I saw. Where’s My Ring earned a 104 Brisnet fig, the highest of any Oaks filly.
(FYI ran a 100 last year). I’m a Beyer guy but like to look at other figs. Elk was kind enough to send me Thorographs so I did a little comparison of the 3 figs. These are the contenders with their last race. In Beyer order.

Horse Beyer Brisnet Thoro (lower better)

Leslie’s Rose 95 98 4

Tarifa 95 89 5

Power Squeeze 92 95 6

Thorpedo Anna 91 91 4

Ways and Means 90 94 4

Where’s My Ring 90 104 7

FYI 89 94 4

What it shows is 7 pretty good, evenly matched fillies.
Where’s My Ring is fastest on Brisnet but slowest in Beyers and Thorograph.
Personally my three choices are

1) Thorpedo Anna - loves the track and is training great

2) Just FYI - Mott has the champ ready but does need to step it up from a bad post

3) Leslie’s Rose - Irad and Pletcher but another one stuck outside

Any of the above 7 have a shot.

Any thoughts on figs.

Steve, there is a similar discrepancy in the Wood Bris figs.  I don’t know what to make of it.  This is the least conviction I have ever had about the Oaks.  I haven’t always been right on the race but I’ve always thought I’ve seen it clearly.

Shoes. It’s a pretty damn good field. It wouldn’t surprise me if any of these 7 won. Great price if you like a horse. Gonna spread around the Oaks-Derby doubles.

As far as the Wood. It’s the same issue with Resilience. Brisnet has him running a 104 in the Wood, considerably higher than other races. I’ll keep it in mind (I do like Resilience in my top group) but I think the Aqueduct figs are a little overstated.

I'm dubious about BRIS' Wood Day figs. They are way out of line w/ everyone else's figs, and it seems like this happens every year.
