This is what I see...
1 Curlin's Kaos 3/G D A Herrera 124 A C Garcia 2 Tapalo 3/R U Rispoli 124 J W Sadler 3 Stronghold 3/C A Fresu 124 P D'Amato 4 Imagination 3/C L Dettori 124 B Baffert 5 Wynstock 3/C J J Hernandez 124 B Baffert 6 Tessuto 3/R K Kimura 124 G Papaprodromou 7 Mc Vay 3/C H I Berrios 124 J A Shirreffs 8 E J Won the Cup 3/C M E Smith 124 D F O'Neill
As it relates to the Kentucky Derby, TOSS the gelding and the two ridglings. Eliminate the Baffert runners from consideration.
Mc Vay's last work: Santa Anita 3/29/2024 Dirt 5F 59.00 Handily 1/129 and Hector's last chance to make the Kentucky Derby.

I dislike Stronghold for the KY Derby win, so if he gets in the gate, less handicapping for me when the time comes.

Is this the least interesting SA Derby, and even more so SA Derby card, ever? Oh how times have changed….
The only interest I have in the card is for the contest and haven’t decided. Imagination makes sense but Stronghold has just as good or better numbers and Tapalo does as well. He ran right with Imagination in December and should be 4X the price.
