Twenty years ago, if they were runnin'... I was bettin'!
My time on this forum with these wonderful handicappers
has taught me the discipline necessary to focus on spot plays.
I'm still not a very good gambler. Lots of ways to lose in this game.
When I discovered tournament play, I found my horse playing niche.
I do, however, play LIVE when working a window at the race track.
There are times I've been able to turn my teller tips into a nice bankroll.
Online, I have Xpressbet and TVG accounts for special occasions & big days.
twenty hours ago, if they were runnin...
i have officially hit the wall
the part of my brain addicted to racing has switched off
I AM FULLY CONFIDENT OF IT
and VERY glad 4 it
god forbid i give up smoking or drinking.
I am switching my tvg limit to 10bucks a week
and will only play horsetourneys because...
i bought a 41$ (most i ever spent) on an AM qualifier to todays HT
live 25K GUARANTEED $350 entry contest
i said to myself
"self, i've been lucky this week, why don't we just pick all 3s instead of cappin or doing the
usual random picks, because if we win our way in we will HAVE
to think"
self said "why 3s? why not 1s or 5s?
I said "f it then, i'm just doin random picks."
3s were in the exacta 5 of the 6 races
the other one it showed.
the total wooda been 131.40
#1 by 19.20 over the winner
i'm a good capper
case in point-last tvg bet i had 27cents in my account
rosario needs to hang it up so
i did a dime super on the last at SA
3,7/3,7/9 (couldn't decide between him and mastermind (who came in 3rd)/4
with another 20cent i woulda had a 19$ profit, doubling my money for the day on tvg
i just can't take the stress
because playing didia or warm heart or national treasure to win is no fun to me
and AP is closed so i have no one to sign for me when i do hit
i'm not even upset i can't sign up for hard rock
(i mighta saved it in my back pocket)
