Looking at the nominations and since he’s still banned from CD this race should be renamed the Bob Baffert Futility

Some rather significant runners have come out of this race.
Originally run as The Hollywood Futurity (1981-2006),
before becoming The Cash Call Futurity (2007-2013),
then moved from Hollywood Park to Los Alamitos (2014-2022).

I thought I might go and get photos...
another short field (6) is less than inspiring.
3 Bafferts, 1 D'Amato, 1 O'Neill, 1 Yakteen.
Make that another full field of five (5).
There were only 5 colts entered last year.
3 Bafferts, 1 Mora, 1 Yakteen. (Yakteen won.)
You'd think $200,000 would draw more entries. |
