I’ve been lucky to post on some nice Breeders Cup longshots the last few years (Round Pond, Finest City, Talismanic last year). This year’s choice is Eziyra. Talented filly has never been off the board and although she never won a Grade 1, she’s been close. A 3rd in the Yorkshire Oaks to Sea of Class, who just missed in the Arc to superstar Enable , and a 3rd to that one in the Irish Oaks. Double digit odds on her would be a gift in my opinion. Good Luck Steve

Plus she has Frankie Dettori riding and we are bound to see at least one flying dismount on Saturday.

She’s certainly coming in under the radar in this very competitive race with all the attention on Chad Brown’s FIVE runners and the European top two . Eziyra might not be a raving beauty but with Frankie Detroit waving his magic wand it is not a wild illusion for you to suggest that she might be the smart choice here. By the way say hello to your sister Charlie. I haven’t seen her since that wedding of Princess Yaiza in Santa Monica where she was fuhriously kissed by that four star crook called Thais.

Thanks Gooch. Lots of crap going on in my life right now, but how can I resist the Breeders Cup? Steve
