Think Clariere a must use but with possible swift pace, dont overlook Pretty Mischievous either. Those 2 for me early and want to see Wet Paint out there.

Race is loaded with pace so i've been looking at the closers. Pretty Mischievous , who looked like she needed her last race, looks ready to run big. Race also sets up for Clariere on her best form, Wet paint I think is just a bit below the other 2 .

#10 Desert Dawn... note major jockey upgrade. Been well regarded 2nd, 2nd & 3rd to Adare Manor. Have lots of respect for Rispoli, but HIB moves 'em up.
If it's prices we want... 20-1 certainly thins the herd.
edit: ...in exchange for the Godolphin?

Fair point . We need big prices . If you think she can turn the tables on Adare Manor then let’s replace her with Desert Dawn

I said Wet Paint early on as a price but needs to improve in a major way. Just see a lot of pace here and think big horses run late due to set up. Clairiere still it for me with PM just off the pace trying to hang on late.after passing Idiomatic in the stretch

If you think she can turn the tables on Adare Manor then let’s replace her with Desert Dawn i see your personal bet includes only idiomatic and adare manor whether it's a "cover bet" or you're trying to get a consensus here i think it's worth asking about this is why i no longer tout horselets to friends i may play a ls and they get super-p'od (or happy) this is a totally different scenario i think we should just pick the best horses with the best chances after everybody handicapping in their own way (connections, speed, class etc) leads, hopefully, to a quasi-consensus hopefully everyone agrees on a horse or 3 per race

The Pick 6 is a $1 bet. For $2000 you don’t get that many combinations. 5x5x5x4x2x2 would be a logical play . if you have a no lose P6 ticket please post it., The Pick 5 with 4000 combinations at 50c might be a better option for us.

of course i don't have a don't lose ticket and i wouldn't try to construct one (unless i had 2k to bet) but to drop a mare at least 3 posters think is a logical threat for one that is a LS with one fan doesn't seem right most of my p6 tickets are very minimal and when i get 4 or 5 i see a horse i NEVER would have picked won ask your friend kasept about "vasa"

what part? at LEAST 3 people think adare manor (yourself included) has an excellent chance dell suggests a horse cuz his fav jock is on it and your ready to drop adare i don't think i've ever spent over 30 something on a pick6 ticket and i've had consos kasept knows who vasa is a 32-1 that cost me on a 1$ p6

pk5 you say? more combinations. a chance to catch the longshots. I think we should go all-in on one wager. pk5 OR pk6. no saver play. $2000 doesn't go a long way on a pk6... unless we've got the right ticket.
Still handicapping. Appreciate reading folks' opinions. Speak up, let's hear it!

Who are kasept and vasa ? Are they characters in a John Le Carre novel ?

Speak up, let's hear it! WE all know that somewhere along the way there will be "one" horse that surprises everyone.(the "one" that makes the horizontal pay). PK 6 would be nice to hit and a game changer as far as price goes. The "but". Do we really feel comfortable with the coverage with a $2,000 ticket. (no Flightline this year) However the pk5 coverage at .50 cents affords us the ability to "spread"..and one less ? race. A "surprise" or two in the PK5 should return a nice price. PK6 should pay huge this year. Either way (whatever is decided upon) I'd be happy with. Let's have fun with this whatever way we go.

I agree with Carl . The Pick 5 will have a bigger pool and give us the opportunity to include some long-shots although I feel that if we can hit a couple of 12-1 winners the payout will still be good

I like the pick 5 idea as I think we need to go as deep as possible in the turf sprint.

Idiomatic, Search Results, Clariere and Desert Dawn. And if we play a Pick 5, I'm okay with that.

My long shot here is #2 A Mo Reay, she shipped in and won the G1 Beholder at SA in March. Saves ground here and hopefully out finishes the closers. She clearly doesn't compare on overall form, but that's why you're getting 20-1. I'll use her in doubles and P3s but completely understand not including on our ticket.
