CAW Wagering the reason ?

Is computer assisted wagering the reason that Del Mar does NOT show the odds during the running of the race now. Between Saratoga making adjustments to the rules(PK5 Friday) as they see fit and Del Mar I guess afraid of odds dropping precipitously during the running of the race, so they eliminate them all together, is the bettor just being taken advantage of.  What next. (seems there is always something....)

The average bettor is just feeding the Caw's (especially in large pools where coverage is an issue) Not our game of just 20 yrs ago. The fact that Del Mar seems OK with the CAW's(bottom line for them) is one thing. The fact they fear bettors reaction to drastic odds changes during the running of the race so much that they have eliminated SHOWING the odds...well, says a lot as to how they view the smaller bettor. (not in a very good light)

Wow.  that % is eye-opening.  (no pun intended). 

I guess maybe they should put 2+2 together as to why non-CAW wagering is down by almost 2/3.   Unless they want their racetracks to become ghostowns w/out real people showing up to wager.  

Should I bring a companion to the track?
