My Derby longshot special. Asmussen has been very high on this horse and I think he’s sitting on a big race. His Louisiana Derby run was pretty good and the only reason he ran in the Lexington was to earn enough points to get in. All he had to do was run 3rd, which he did, and I don’t think he was pushed.
He has been making a very favorable impression on the track and his workout this week was very sharp.

This guy ran well and didn’t disgrace himself. Ended up a rallying 4th after being far back early. Hopefully he’ll move on to the Preakness. I think he’s going to be a major player in the division!
