Was close to being my favorite track. The huge venue with great sight lines. Taking the stairs down to the paddock. Walking around the grassy areas. And the LIRR round trip from penn station….maybe the worst racetrack food—did 35 consecutive Belmonts + every super Saturday weekend back in the day
Marlboro cups with free cigs and momentous
Champagnes and turf classics and met miles
Groovy
Meeting doc and Levi son there—even met Larry L
Should go there one more time
UIC road trip?
