Thoughts before the pre-entries:
Chelsea Cloisters- Filly is fast early and hangs tough late. G3 placed in France. Part of the Wesley Ward brigade. Can't endorse for the win, but might get lost in the wagering.
Soldier's Call- 2yo ran a very close third against OPEN company in the G1 Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp. Turf 7/ 4-1-2. Won at Royal Ascot and G2 in GB. I love this horse! Please send him over Archie.
Strike Silver- Showed speed on dirt, then came from the clouds to get up in time in turf debut at KEE in $200k prep for this. Violence is having quite a start as a turf sire.
Also in the mix: So Perfect, Uncle Benny, Well Done Fox.

As of today It's Gonna Hurt is out of the race, and Uncle Benny has a 1st preference in the Juv. Turf, so Chelsea Cloisters and Moonlight Romance would both draw in.
Long-range weather forecast calls for significant rain event Wed.-early Thurs., so there's a good chance the turf will be less than firm.
Most likely winner: Soldier's Call (E)- keeps improving, doesn't need the lead, has handled good-soft going.
Other win candidates: Pocket Dynamo (P), Queen of Bermuda (P).
Can use underneath: Sergei Prokofiev (P), Shang Shang Shang (E), So Perfect (P), Strike Silver (P), Well Done Fox (P), Chelsea Cloisters (E).
Running Style: (E)= Early speed; (P)= Pace tracker; (S)= Sustained late run.

Should AOB opt for this spot with So Perfect as is listed as her preference, I think that would be telling.

One of many races where I will end up saying "How did (insert name) go off at 20-1 and I missed him?" Such are the Breeders' Cup cards.
No horse would surprise me in this race. If I hit the Mega Millions I would hit the 'all' button but alas ...
Was impressed by Strike Silver's (4/1) recovery from an unfortunate start to win his last. Suspect he'll be closer early this time though I'm not crazy about the one post. Soldier's Call (9/2) looks like the best of the Euros.
I never know who's going to be a longshot at post time but my morning line longshot is Stillwater Cove (20/1). The mile may have been too far in her last and she's done well since they decided to take her a bit back early. Note the comment in her poor showing at Ascot (led at blistering pce).
So avoid these three at all costs.
