His Florida Derby win reminds me of Big Brown in 2008. BB was in post 12, and I thought, 'he can't win from way out there' but he did. Then BB drew post 20, again I thought, no, he can't win from out there but he did. Same thing this year, Forte had widest post in FD and managed to win.
Unless Forte draws post 1 or 2, in Kentucky, I think his chances are very good for the win. I'm definitely using him.

Big Brown was running much faster figs and if you recall Dutrow actually picked the 20 post (those were the days when they chose picking positions by lot. Not sure what pick Dutrow had but there were at least several other posts open when he chose to take the far outside). That said Forte has the strongest resume in the field, and I would not try to dissuade you from choosing him.
