HE WAS EUTHANIZED. Let's take a moment.
A lovely horse, family 23-b and his trainer hung tight with him like he did with pepper's pride.
I'm crying into my coffee right now.
His injury was very serious.

The injury was a cruel coincidence for Joel Marr, who was looking forward to having his first Kentucky Derby horse. Five years ago he brought Sunland Park Oaks winner Blamed to Churchill Downs only to have her suffer a hairline fracture to her right-hind leg during a workout the week before the Kentucky Oaks (G1).

They had quite a frantic and stressful situation just trying to GET to CD, on short notice, with air travel being somewhat up in the air, etc.
Every time the horse went out to the track Marr was right there with the horse, as was his jockey.
It really is heartbreaking for sure.
I had a little cry over my coffee.
Here are the interviews when they decided to go to the Derby. Nice guy.

I am so sad, this is this worst part of horse racing. 😪 Rest In Peace, Wild On Ice, you were a good boy. 🙏♥️

Yes, it is so sad. I hope another horse will come along for them and that Wild on Ice enjoyed his brief life.
