Selcourt/Finley/Golden Mischief here.
Finley ran a clunker last time out, and might be better at 6f than at 7, but she is 6 for 7 at CD and that's good enough to put her on my ticket. Maybe the key.

Dream Tree has been withdrawn. Finley'sluckycharm has admirable sprint record, and an affinity for CD. Calhoun brings her in first off a layoff, and she seems to fire her best that way. Two GI 7F losses this year. Mixed signals. Marley's Freedom has blossomed into a GSW as a 4yo, Ballerina win was impressive, but was handled easily by Selcourt in March. Selcourt was the division leader through three starts earlier this year, must fire best shot first time out.
Most likely winner: Selcourt (E). Other win candidates: Marley's Freedom (P). Can use underneath: Chalon (E), Finley'sluckycharm (E), Mia Mischief (E)
Running Style: (E)= Early speed; (P)= Pace tracker; (S)= Sustained late run. |

First, find the favorite and dismiss without reservation. Then, find the ones that have dominated the division and dismiss without reservation. Leaves me with Mia/Golden Mischief, Highway Star, and a long day of racing to make up for the money I waste on this noontime crapshoot.
