Ken Tohill talks about his Grade 3 Sunland Park Derby winner Wild On Ice, who gave the jockey his first career graded-stakes victory at age 60. When he rides Wild On Ice in the Kentucky Derby, Tohill will become the oldest jockey to compete in the race, surpassing the 58 years of his pal Jon Court in 2019

Delightful. I remember Peppers Pride.
One thing we know about Wild on Ice. He's going to have a good set of lungs on him, having been at high elevation all this time.
I also like that his regular jockey also does the works w/him instead of an exercise rider.
I like homebreds anyway. This year only Disarm, Wild on Ice and Hit Show. I usually make a few exactas using only a homebred plus another runner I like.
