Well then make sure you don't post it publically and only private message me, and me alone, with the winner.

A race Red Route One should have run in instead of the AR Derby.

I think 13 is a very lucky number. Good luck! Not too many times they got such a large field for this race, makes it harder I remember other Withers winners like Alpha, Far From Over, Sunny Ridge, El Areeb, etc. and who runs 2nd and 3rd in that race and how they do in the Wood (quite often 2nd or 3rd in the Withers hits the board in the Wood I think?) Last time I played the Wood was sometime back in 2017 so I'm not very current with that race or how AQ plays. Also, interesting to match up the Withers Winners with the Wood Memorial Winners: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Withers_Stakes with en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_Memorial_Stakes

The next step on the road to my greatest Kentucky Derby ever!

The reason I went with Arctic Arrogance, despite that Rice is not a high % graded stakes trainer, and not sure an EP style is right for this race: I found the possibility of a THREE GENERATION win .....irresistable. To wit: Frosted won this race in 2015. Frosted's sire Tapit also won this race in 2004. Arctic Arrogance's sire is Frosted. AA is Lasix Free and a Homebred. He's had 4 places and 2 wins on the NY tracks, so has hit the board in every race of his career. That's 100% ITM (3 Places at AQ, a Win and Place at BEL, and a Win at SAR). I don't think track bias will affect him much and not sure he could get the KY Derby distance but this isn't the KY Derby. Rice has bad stats for graded stakes but I think AA's record here says he's horse-for-the-course and seems unaffected by track biases. It would be cool if he won and kinda a neat historical footnote.

So for this race I will do an exotic with Arctic Arrogance, Crupi, Slip Mahoney ........Uncle Jake is my Longshotat 20-1. Not wild about Hit Show but will add him onto my superfecta ticket.

Hit Show the most consistent sort but this race as of late seems to be more of that horse with an s to start…. Classic Catch the one I am most interested in wagering on however.

Like I said, as of late the Wood hasn’t been a Hit Show but a $hit Show……. Tough trip for Hit Show and would be the only horse I would remotely consider out of this one
