SD ST -2 vs FL Atlantic SD has worked their way in to a good chance to make the finals. I didn't like their chances to make it this far vs the top national teams, however those top teams are now gone. Their D has pretty much controlled every game until Creighton, finally taking over late. After facing their opponents in this tourney so far, they should be well prepared for Saturday. -141 money line is too steep for me....
MIAMI +5.5 vs UConn I see this game as evenly matched, so I will grab the #. Both teams have been very aggressive, dominating late in their games, and both with coaches having experienced backrounds. Game could go either way with either team drawing away. I will probably take Miami +200 on the money line also.

have not made my mind up yet. I know who I will bet but not sure on totals and parlays. Best BET is U Conn. They have a huge advantage in the paint with a 7'2 center that can dominate the lane. U Con shoots the 3 ball well and play a smothering defensive style.

I like LSU in women's final
Think Miami and SD State battle it out in the men's final.

Have not watched many games in the tourney but the little I did see left me surprised. Was impressed with the quality of the product and found it rather enjoyable. Maybe I should not have been surprised but level of play was better than I was expecting. Iowa possible let down after beating S Carolina last night? I'm betting that will be the case against LSU.

I've watched the Iowa women in 3 games this year and Caitlan Clark deserves the hype she is getting. Great individual scorer who is not just a gunner but also gets her teammates involved and displays real leadership. After last night's big upset win over SC, I hope they can finish the deal on Sunday.

I'll have to admit that the wimmins games last night were very enjoyable. The Larry Bird comparison rings true. The Iowa player just kept on doing it, and evidently does it every game. Any thoughts on how to wager this game?
Miami vs UConn O/E 149.5 Both teams have scored over 80 in every game so far, I believe. You would think that at least one team will hit 80 or better 80+. Probably low-scoring first game, and hopefully an OVER play here.
Hoping for as competitive and inspiring play as last night(I can't believe that I just typed that)

wrong wrong wrong on my end yesterday 1pt off on the first game--should have played ml <iami was never in the 2nd game, and extremely slow start/poor shooting killed any chance of an OVER
Not sure that SD St can hang with UConn--# will be big

Iowa’s matchup against South Carolina drew the most eyes, with ESPN reporting as many as 5.5 million viewers, an increase of 72% from 2022.

Getting ready to watch Catlin Clark after seeing the stats and hearing the hype and then hopefully tomorrow UConn and Danny Hurley get the W. I don't know much about College Basketball but I do know the Hurley pedigree and would be nice to see Danny carve out a piece of history his own.

I think Danny Hurley played on the Duke team with Christian Lettner (sp). They had some classic battles with North Carolina.

Spanky, you're probably thinking about Bobby Hurley Jr., who led Duke to consecutive national championships as their point guard. He went on to a successful career in the NBA and is now the head coach at Arizona State.
His younger brother Danny is the current head coach at UConn. He had played point guard at Seton Hall under P.J. Carlesimo and had coached at Wagner and Rhode Island before coming to UConn in 2018 with a goal to return the then troubled program to its former glory.
They are both the sons of Bob Hurley Sr., a legendary head coach at St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, N.J.

Thanks Jolyb...I certainly remember Bobby Jr and his days at Duke but forgot about those great teams at Seton Hall. Throw in the great teams from Georgetown and the East had some great teams...

Spanky, you have brought back some great memories of the early days of the original Big East. Every time the ball was tipped off it was like going to war. You mentioned John Thompson's Georgetown and Seton Hall; UConn didn't become much of a force until Jim Calhoun joined them but then they gained traction quickly. Games with Boston College, Providence in the Ernie D' days, Syracuse under Jim Boeheim, Saint John's under Lou Carneseca and Villanova under Rollie Massamino (sp?) were college hoops at its finest.

St. Johns had a great player in Chris Mullins.Great shooter. Rollie was an interesting coach. Meanwhile, was that about the time Bill Walton was dominating the West?
