I would not run that maiden winner in this spot.

2nd @ CD to Confidence Game, then came back to score. Rocket Can is developing into a real nice racehorse... Morning Line @ (8-1) is preposterous. Bad's selection to win.

Todd with 18 entered in 12 of the 14 races on the card. Over and under on wins ? (4)

I thought McG said General Jim had some kind of small setback? i.e. he missed a scheduled work due to a mild cough that developed on Sunday. Setbacks worry me.
Only horses I like here are Rocket Can, Shadow Dancing, Blazing Seven's and Forte.
No idea what to make of Mage .... and due to missed works, General Jim. If a superfecta, I might throw Cyclone on my ticket somewhere with the 4 above.

Mage could hang on for a big piece as the controlling speed here, especially if ignored. A prep for sure but Forte should win this. Chad saying all,the right things regarding Blazing Sevens but want to see a solid performance on a dry track and need better than 7/2 here to wager that happens. Dell mentioned Rocket Can and agree. General Jim did miss some training but Shug will own run if he isn’t concerned. I’m concerned enough not to pick him on top but if he runs, he hits the board.

I hope my observation helps somebody who plays exotics.
I went back to 2014 (could have gone back further but didn't feel like it)
Every single year, except 2019, a longshot from $18 all the way up to 1 to 94 odds has creeped into the superfecta or trifecta, and a few times has won.
I am going to play accordingly and put in a couple tickets like that. Haven't constructed them yet though, although the scratch of General Jim certainly messed up the odds.

Cyclone mischief fits the bill. Dale Romans says draw a line though his last race .

That maiden winner might surprise a lot of people. His trainer has pulled a lot of surprises at huge odds. Can hit the board at a big price. Steve

Cyclone mischief fits the bill. Dale Romans says draw a line though his last race . Actually if you look for 20 years, the most common interrupters were indeed, Romans, as well as Delgado. Castellano as rider (Leparoux had done it a few times but wasn't in this race) and Sano has pulled off the feat as well. The other historical for this race is that horse from the Holy Bull do well in this one, and that turned out to be true. Forte made them all look like they were hardly running though, but I think the results were really very formful.
