Always an interesting race, because of the oldsters. What I like about it. Last year a 7 year old won. R Rated Superstar, one of my favorite horses, is 10 yo now. Also have always loved Last Samurai. Mike Smith comes in from CA to ride Mark Glatt's horse. Caddo River, who was a derby hopeful a few years ago, got moved from Cox to Lukas now. Should be an intersting race. I liked Martin Garcia when he rode out here
at Santa Anita and Del Mar. Baffert's Boy for a bit.
20-1 bomb for no good reason, except maybe trainer is due.
Is Trademark a Horselet(TM)?

I love R Rated Superstar (10 yr old) and Last Samurai, too! Caddo River and Long Range Toddy are in the race, too. Just a lot of neat older horses.

I liked Martin Garcia when he rode out here There's a lot of californians now........Rafael Bejarano is in the top 3 riders at OP now. He's been tearing it up. Talamo, Garcia. We have 4-5 female jockeys now as well. |
