Pretty competitive Risen Star. Cox’s top two, Victory Formation and Tapit’s Conquest look very tough but I’m going with Curly Jack. He was on my radar last year when he had a productive juvenile campaign. He Beyered 86 as a 2 year old which puts him in the mix with some improvement expected. Ran a sharp second (he might have been best) against top Derby hopeful Instant Coffee. Sharp 5f blowout in 59.4 breezing has him sitting on ready. Morales is having a hot meet and he rides at a 32% clip for Amoss. Don’t think I’ll see anything close to ML of 8-1, but 5-1 would be fair. Boxing with the two Cox horses as well as win and place.
