Co-features are the UAE Oaks (3yoF, 9.5F dirt), Nad Al Sheba Trophy (3up, 14F turf), and the Dubai Millenium Stakes (4up, 10F turf), all GIII events.
MEY R2 (9:35am ET)- 6f (Handicap) (Turf) (3yo+ 90-108)

#9- Silent Speech (10-1) had a win and a second in two C&D tries last year, then went to the sidelines after a poor run at Ascot in September. Drew well in PP13 and could very well still have upside after only five career starts. Doubt that m/l holds anywhere near the price.
EX- 9/3,5,12,15
MEY R3 (10:10am ET)- 1m1½f UAE Oaks (Group 3) (Fillies) (Dirt) (3yo)

#5- Mimi Kakushi (3-2) looked serious winning the 1000 Guineas here last month, only new shooter is the American runner which appears to be a turf horse. Cold 5/3 Exacta?
PASS
MEY R4 (10:45am ET)- 1m Lord Glitters Handicap (Handicap) (Turf) (3yo+ 95-110)

#4- Aegean Finale (5-1) was 50-1 when finishing a solid second behind Electrical Storm over C&D five weeks ago. Turkish runner has good career turf record (6/3-1-1) and drew nicely in PP3. Expecting the odds to drift up. #6- New Kingdom (4-1) has run well in all three local attempts, needs to make a forward move but the step up to a mile ought to help.
EX- 4,6/1,4,5,6,11,12
MEY R5 (11:20am ET)- 1m6f Nad Al Sheba Trophy (Group 3) (Turf) (3yo+)
www.racingpost.com/racecards/1231/meydan/2023-02-17/833337
#10- Siskany (6-5) won easily over C&D in his only local start last season. 5yo gelding is following a similar race schedule as last year, with an AW start in late fall, then a Meydan run before a start in $2.5M Red Sea Turf Hcp. on Saudi Cup day. Buick was effusive in his praise for the horse before the races this evening, drew well in PP4.
TRI- 10/2,7,13/2,7,8,12,13,14
MEY R6 (11:55am ET)- 1m2f Dubai Millennium Stakes (Group 3) (Turf) (4yo+)
www.racingpost.com/racecards/1231/meydan/2023-02-17/833338
#9- Ottoman Fleet (3-1) will probably go off as the second choice, but he was highly progressive in GB last year, before running a close third twice in two tries in GIIs here at 9F behind stablemate Valiant Prince. Drops back in grade today and should improve at 10F, which clearly seems to be his best distance.
TRI- 9/1,5,10,11/1,5,10,11
MEY R7 (12:30pm ET)- 7f (Handicap) (Dirt) (3yo+ 90-109)
www.racingpost.com/racecards/1231/meydan/2023-02-17/833339
Some combination of 1,3,6,7,9,10 should fill out the major awards. Thinking that #7- Imperial Empire (15-1) could shock these dropping down from a series of Group-level races.
