First, I'm playing it because
I'm getting monster odds on a horse that I like...
and second, Baffert is represented in the "all others,"
creating more value for an exacta box with my horse.

The Philly filly bet down to 10-1 😳

The breeding and so far distaff races look great. Headed for the Rachel Alexandra and then possibly a final prep against males to keep options open for the Derby (if she does well enough). What does everyone think? When I last looked she was offering more value in the exacta futures than the 10-1.

I placed a small wager on her hoping for the 50-1 she was listed at. I don’t know that I would have been tempted at 10-1. Having said that I wonder how much of the future pools is novice money betting on the filly vs. the sharp money that thinks she is at the top of the three year old crop? 10-1 would have been a gift on Rachel back in the day - is this filly versus this crop a similar comparison? Oh well - guess I will find out. I have to think if she makes it in the Derby she would be lower because they wouldn’t go if she wasn’t ultra impressive and also all of the sentimental money that would come in on her.
