$200 tops I think like American Pharoah year one. Flightline's sire stands for $185. $250 and up puts him at the Into Mischief, Dubawi and Frankel level. Way too soon for that.

Crazy valuation but not 400 million crazy. 2.5% for $4.6 million.

merasmag 2.5% is 1/40th 40 x 4.6 mil is 184 mil.
but... 4.6 was the high bidder, if you had 39 more 2.5% shares to sell the rest would likely be lower, certainly the average would be lower.

Undefeated Flightline (Tapit), who retired to Lane's End Farm after an 8 1/4-length victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic Nov. 5, will stand the 2023 season for $200,000.

Best horse since the big boys of the 70’s. Citation would have been a tough nut to crack. Can’t speak to man’o war . Flightline is top 10 all time though

Tough to bump any of those for a horse with just 6 starts no matter how brilliant and Forego didn't even make that list- and that is just for horses campaigned in North America.

Ruffian (35) I would have to bump Affirmed down a position on this list and place Flightline 10th. I also have Elway and Unitas ranked ahead of Brady. This is just my opinion.

If we are just talking talent I get it Flightline is up there, but if you take in accomplishments then no way is Flightline any where near top 10, he ran 6 times. Affirmed is a triple crown winner who had to beat a BEAST for it. Just can't compare these horses with those of the past, they will never measure up. Let's put a 4 year old Affirmed, Does anyone in their right mind think he doesn't when that classic the same way flightline did?
