I'm sure Tom, Bev and Spider probably know a lot about this 5 year old horse but I don't. I skimmed by him 3 times before I stopped long enough to wonder why a horse who won one race in the past 16 months was given a morning line of 6/1. Clue - He's won almost $16,000,000 over the past 3 years. I don't know which races he won in his first 10 races but they must have been some "biggins" I also see the top international jockey will be in the irons, Dettori. If he decides to do what he did a couple years ago he would be a hand full. I'd wager her geos of closer to 10/1 than 6/1. I'm thinking to find a place for him somewhere on the ticket.

Mishriff won a lot of that money in only two races. He won the $5M Sheema Classic (12F Turf) in Dubai in Mar. 2021, and the $20M Saudi Cup (9F Dirt) in Feb. 2021. 10 furlongs on good-firm would suit him the best, but he obviously travels well and he's run first, second or third in the Eclipse, King George, and Juddmonte (GIs) two years in a row, against the best international fields assembled. Tough to leave him off your tickets IMO.

I was surprised to see him entered—12F was thought to be beyond his best, though not as tough group as he usually faces. I bet him always over there and haven’t cashed in a while. I dunno but I can’t let him beat me….

I did research on Mishriff at a time when there was some hope he would run in our KY Derby. If he had come over at that time I think he would have been scary and I might have picked him to win. Hes a multi-surface runner (both dirt and turf). I think his breeding is better than Nations Pride and a few others in here. His broodmare sire (Ravens Pass) won our Breeders' Cup Classic and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
I always look to see who a horse has run against, to determine class, and he has that in spades. He'll be in my trifecta for sure. Maybe even the win spot.
In the Arc de Triomphe he ran 13th........but did you see who he ran against? PYLEDRIVER and TORQUATOR TASSO who won the Arc at 4. And in the 12F race last year he ran into in the race with ADAYAR (son of Frankel) who was trained by Appleby and ran 4th.
Misriff wins anywhere from 10F to 12F although he is better at 10F, but loaded with stamina. He's been around, and raced against some stiff company in his travels.
At 3: Won Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) (Fr-G1,10½fT,Cha), Prix Guillaume d'Ornano (Fr-G2,10fT,Dea), Newmarket S. (Eng-L,10fT,Nmk) 2nd Saudi Derby (KSA,8fD,Jan) At 4: Won Dubai Sheema Classic (UAE-G1,12fT,Mey), International S. (Eng-G1,10½fT,Yor), Saudi Cup (KSA,9fD,Rdh) 2nd King George VI & Queen Elizabeth S. (Eng-G1,12fT,Asc) 3rd Eclipse S. (Eng-G1,10fT,San) 4th Champion S. (Eng-G1,10fT,Asc)
At 5: 2nd Eclipse S. (Eng-G1,10fT,San), International S. (Eng-G1,10½fT,Yor) 3rd King George VI and Queen Elizabeth S. (Eng-G1,12fT,Asc) 4th Irish Champion S. (Ire-G1,10fT,Leo)
