G2 Juddmonte Royal Lodge S. has attracted a field of four, with the winner entitled to a fees-paid berth in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Keeneland in early November.

NEW R1- Disappointing field of four in a GI contest, I guess Flying Honours' last two races have scared many into running elsewhere.
No bet.
NEW R2- #6- Meditate (5-2) is undefeated on good ground, turn back to 6F should suit, she'll be racing prominently from the flagfall. #7- Swingalong (6-1) has progressed smoothly through four starts, will not ignore a Karl Burke-trained 2yo. #2- Lezoo (7-1) will never go off at that m/l price, especially with Buick aboard, but hasn't seen the racetrack since July.
EX- 6,7/2,4,6,7,8,9
NEW R3- #1- Blackbeard (5-2) is a GI-winner, has the class/experience edge over these, may have some company up front today. #6- Persian Force (5-1) has done little wrong in six starts, fell a half-length short of Blackbeard in France, drew outside and maybe can make a stands-side run count late in the proceedings.
EX- 1,6/1,2,3,6,7
NEW R4- I love the Cambridgeshire, if only because it is run at an odd distance (9F) for UK//IRE horses, which either are stretching out from a mile, or dropping back from 10F. My longshot W/P horse is #20- Kitsune Power (15-1) from the Varian yard, with Ray Dawson up. 3yo drew on the far side (PP7) which isn't ideal, but he's improving with every run, the trainer is white-hot, and they'll never see him coming with his late run. Conventional bet has #4- Mujtaba (4-1) for Haggas/Crowley, ran well in the big-field Lincoln H. to open the season, then was run sparingly to keep his rating (weight) down. Gets PP15. #6- Injazati (15-1) had a fine 3yo season, only has two runs this season but has run races that can win this, gets crafty Jamie Spencer (last year's winning rider) aboard for Charlie Fellowes. Hunch play more than anything.
EX- 4,6/1,4,6,9,10,14,20,21,28 W/P- 20

Thanks Dell. Always trying to get UICers more interested in overseas racing.
