Couldn’t help but notice when going through the PPs for the opening race at Saratoga that there are some very expensive horses in here . The average price of horses sold at auction for this $20k claimer is an astonishing $240k . It’s a tough business to be in 🤑

I see inflation at it's peak right now, leveling off. Not expecting prices to come down any time soon.(and when they do,very slowly, but not back to where they were) After years of low interest rates, spurring increased demand for stocks(earnings a mirage because of low cost of doing business...excess cash in economy ,increase demand)..increased house prices (low interest, high demand)...creation of the crypto markets (still don't understand the value there)...everybody felt flush. Balance sheets looked good. The ride is over. Rates will rise, supply issues will work themselves out, consumers will draw the line on purchases, jobs will be lost, house prices will fall. Money supply will dwindle. Months late on fighting inflation...that transitory BS just made things worse.
