I think #5- Jimi Hendrix (3-1) is a standout in the 2:40 3yo mile handicap. He'll be one of my keys on the day, hope he stays above 2-1 by the off.

NEW 2:05-
#3- Kidwah (9-5) is two-for-two for Haggas/Shadwell, expensive daughter of Kodiac could be any kind of sprinter. #4- Golden Spear (5-1) has improved since switching to turf, front-runner could take them a long way under new pilot Buick.
EX- 3,4/2,3,4,7
NEW 2:40-
#5- Jimi Hendrix (4-1) has been strongly progressive through five starts, his third place finish in the Britannia at Royal Ascot points him out. Jockey Hornby rode smartly yesterday, has another chance to be brilliant here.
WIN- 5 EX- 5/2,3,4,6
NEW 3:15-
If #3- Isaac Shelby (7-2) handles good/firm going as well as soft, he could upset the likely Godolphin favorite. Just watching this one while playing York.
NEW 3:50-
Love the big Heritage Handicaps as a wagering vehicle, always worth taking a big swing. #3- Jumby (7-1) has a habit of breaking slowly, perhaps new rider Soumillon can get him away alertly. Looks to be sitting on a big race. #10- Montassib (9-2) has done little wrong in four starts for Haggas, progressive 4yo gets weight from many of these and may prove best. #17- Samburu (5-1) is a progressive 3yo Kingman colt for Juddmonte/Gosden, interesting placement by the Gosdens in here. Bet Kieran O'Neill had to skip breakfast today to do 117.

Can't get with it this morning, and the races seem very competitive, particularly the big sprint.
2:40 race 3 Can't go against Jimi, though #3 LAASUDOOD looks best to me. The Applebys have to figure, with #1 NEW KINGDOM as a possible live shooter probably much less than 15-1
3:15 race 4 #1 DARK THIRTY might have the class to surprise. #3 ISAAC SHELBY definitely could be the one.
3:50 race 5 Also like #3 JUMBY best, and maybe #4 RHOSCOLYN 1-3-+4-10-17 xbox 3/1-4-10-17 x

York 11:05- John Smiths Cup $270,000 10F
Really like #4- Anmaat (8-1) consistent, progressive 4yo. Needs to fire on seasonal debut in an impossibly tough spot, but Owen Burrows is among the best. There's a reason he gets a few Shadwell horses. #8- Mahrajaan (6-1) has been running much farther, progressive 4yo Kitten's Joy gelding has a win at the distance and was third over the course last fall. Haggas/Shadwell with this one. #20- Rogue Bear (7-1) has also been progressive through his eight starts, just missed over C&D last out, seems favorably weighted for today.

NEW 11:25-
The two best sprinters I've watched in 2021-2022 were #3- Creative Force (5-1) and #13- Perfect Power (2-1), and they've both won here sprinting. Not going to overcomplicate it, but will still take a swing for a decent payday.

can't keep up today without reading 10f's post, I also played #4 win and boxed 4-7-8-9 x, so I am back in the hunt today
as mentioned by 10f, Creative Cause and Perfect Power have been very good to me also, + I nailed the Godolphin x in the big Royal Ascot sprint. boxing 3-6-8-9-13 hoping for something good 3 win and 13/1-3-5-6-8-9
