I picked Zandon in the contest but Ethereal Road is the price I like. Will need a contested pace up front but he's come running in each of his 3 route races. Be nice to see Wayne get a runner in now that the filly is headed to the Oaks.

My bomber is Blackadder a $620,000 Quality Road colt who Yakteen took over from Baffert. Steve Blackadder went to Brisset from Baffert. Yakteen is picking up the pieces out west.
Saturday... must be the biggest day in Tim Yakteen's career. He's a real nice guy in person. I met him a few years back @ Del Mar, back when he was training horses for Reviewer (Bernardo - miss you!)  . I stood in the walking ring with PVal & trainer... pretended I was a big shot! |

I usually don't play prep races because my mind drifts toward who can win the KY Derby. Can't see that Zandon beat much so far.
For this race, I agree hard to get by smile or zandan and hoping they do win so I have 2 tosses for the KY Derby. (example of how my mind works w/ prep races). I guess I would play for value/higher odds here. Rattle N' Roll, Emmanuel, Ethereal Road for instance, just to make $ on the wager.
Really love McPeek's horse in Keenland R1, Creative Minister. Have thought all along he's McPeek's "best TC horse" (while everyone was looking at his other horses) .....And he won like I thought he would, using him for the Belmont Stakes.
