www.nyra.com/saratoga/news/newly-renovated-post-bar-and-paddock-suite-to-debut-at-saratoga-race-course-for-2022-meetTraditionalists will probably hate it, but The Post Bar is kind of cheesy and dated. Sure, they are trying to create another high-end 'snobatorium' to generate revenue with the suite, but considering that they are not using any additional footprint, why not. If it looks like this, it would get my vote. Sitting or standing on the balcony overlooking the paddock would be 'suite'! I've already made inquiries with NYRA but they don't have firm details/numbers/prices yet. I was concerned when they announced the 1863 Club but that building is fantastic and fit right in aesthetically. Then they built "The Stretch" in the furthest reaches of the grandstand and turned a place where hopheads went to puff into another useful addition. I'm all aboard this one too. Did I mention that the Paddock Suite bar is air-conditioned... Renderings: The Post Bar, circa 2015... TW
