Anyone can set-up a UIC private tournament at HorseTourneys whenever they want, then publicize it here.
Looking at it longer-term, I had thought we could do it on major graded stakes Days (mostly Saturdays when more people might have time). A tentative schedule could look something like this:
Next contest could be 2/19 at FG for the Risen Star card.
Then:
3/5- GP Fountain of Youth & SA Santa Anita Handicap
3/12- TAM Tampa Bay Derby
4/2- GP Florida Derby & OP Arkansas Derby
4/9- KEE Blue Grass
5/6- CD Kentucky Oaks
5/7- CD Kentucky Derby
5/21- PIM Preakness
5/30- SA Hollywood Gold Cup
6/11- BEL Belmont Stakes Festival
7/9- BEL Belmont Derby/Oaks
7/23- MTH Haskell
SAR Whitney
DMR Pacific Classic
SAR Travers
KD Kentucky Downs
WO Woodbine Mile
PRX Pennsylvania Derby
KEE Turf Mile
DMR Breeders' Cup
DMR Hollywood Derby
AQU Cigar Mile
Also, anyone that wants to set-up a HT contest can do so, it doesn't have to be me. You just have to set-up the contest at HT (takes 90 seconds), copy the link provided, then send it to interested players. The only limitation is the short-notice for sending out the link (about 24hrs.), but if you can drum up interest in advance, it should go smoothly.

Tom, just a heads up on the schedule, HT hasn’t been able to get CD & OP (signal managed by CD) to agree to the using their races.

Yeah, CDI seems obsessed about money first, last, and in-between. Like they are going to take a big hit to their handle if there are some contests on-going. SMH. Contest players have already figured out that you don't have to outrun the tiger, just run faster than the guy next to you. {Full disclosure- I own a small amount of CDI stock.} Anyways, we won't lose sleep if we can't have a HT Derby contest, too many other outlets for loose cash in early May.

yes mackay was ok a fews back on churchill but they intervened. And i agree totally paticularly with regulations being relaxed for legalized betting. The big tracks are not hurting on their takeout. Tounaments are great even if the price seems to be getting out of reach.
