Who ya got today? I'm leaning to the Raiders+6 and Buffalo-5. LV seems to be peaking right now. Derrick Carr is ballin'. In Buffalo, by tonight the game will be played in sub-zero weather. Josh Allen is in the running for MVP imo.

The Cowboys Out-coached and out-physicalled big name D players were neutralized---9ers O did exactly what everyone knew that they would do Dallas O was on their heels helter skelter throughout 15 momentum killing penalties
Coach is probably gone deservedly--too much payroll and too many big names too many moves yesterday that blew up Zeke could be shipped elsewhere, and Dak also Frees up $$ and jump starts the re-build---a few teams out there with too many high draft picks
your opinion spank? others?

Spider's assessment of the Cowboys triggered something I remembered from decades ago circa 1948(?). When the owner of the then NY Giants baseball team hired Leo Durocher to manage the team he ordered him to evaluate all the members of the team. Leo's responses was "Back up the truck". I'm sure there are several NFL teams fit that description.

I doubt Zeke or Dak are going anywhere. With an owner like JJ you never know but teams are already lining up to hire both the offensive and defensive coordinators. I don't see Jones getting rid of the coordinators, in fact, he's said he wants to keep both. But you know both will listen to becoming head coaches. It will interesting to see if he can lure both to stay with $$$. McCarthy may be gone. He truly doesn't fit in Dallas. It was beyond disappointing the Boys lost that game. The only team I can recall having tons of penalties and still winning were the Oakland Raiders back in the days of Madden, Stabler, etc...
My son was at the game (have not talked to him yet) but I know the tickets were not easy to come by or cheap! I doubt the Cowboys will "back up the truck" but then again...The Jones Boys will look at saving face somehow.

When is the last time the Cowboys had a top 10 coach? Parcells 15 years ago? Even he was trending down. Make a run at Payton in N.O. I would not blow up the roster but that head coach is the wrong guy. Seems they have a good personnel department for drafting, keep it intact. Jerry the GM butchers all the high profile contracts. Currently $13 million over the cap for next season.. My opinion from afar

"I doubt Zeke or Dak are going anywhere"
if you can get odds, bet on that. 12 million and 43 million dollar cap hits to trade or cut them respectively.
Cutting Cooper post June-1 saves them 20 million on the cap, you can take that to the bank too.

Have the Pats taken Bellicheat off suicide watch? :>) Money is no object for most owners and Jerry's ego will not let him get rid of Zeke or Dak. The Cowboys did have a successful season after all. Cut short by a few factors perhaps but never less a season that was somewhat entertaining.
Ok, it sucked...lol...I am looking for those odds elk! But...

OK---Coach, rb and qb are staying-----O line had a tough go protecting them. D played reasonably well until Sunday. Receivers as good as they get, however they can't afford all of them. Cap situation is very shaky to improve the roster. Eagles and Skins will get better next year. Giants will have a different look. Just sayin.......
Pats will be fine, spank-----wr upgrades are coming, and qb Jones will probably improve. Bills are serious, and Miami will improve if the new coach fits(though I don't believe in Tua).

My youngest son was at the games with excellent seats...50 yard line, 12th row. But on the 49ers side! He and a friend were no doubt decked out in Cowboy jerseys with his buddy known to run a little hot. No doubt they had some beers and probably had some "boot whiskey". But everything went ok except for the wrong team winning. He said the zebras did high tail it out at the final gun! Jerry doesn't even own the most "badass" team stadium anymore. Never seen it but So-Fi looks like it is much better. I had forgotten it was built where the old Hollywood track once was.
We will just have to agree to disagree spiderman. Giants will suck for awhile imo. Philly may improve for sure but Washington is a joke. We never really know what Jones will do but the coach is still there.
