don't know if any have viewed this in another board
Aretha Franklin is now said to be ‘alert and laughing’ at home as she continues to battle her illness. The 76-year-old soul legend has been reported to be ‘gravely ill’, with her loved ones gathered to say their goodbyes, but her nephew Tim Franklin has now revealed she is in good spirits and at home, although there are concerns over reports her death is said to be imminent.

Love Aretha's Think. Also made for a memorable scene in The Blues Brothers movie. Got me to thinking about completely different songs with identical titles. I also like this one from the Stones:

The Queen of Soul was the greatest. Saw her in Oakland a few years ago and I don't think I've ever seen an audience that emotional. What a loss. RIP to a piece of America's heart and soul.

Can’t leave this out,one of the all time great live performances. Kennedy Center honoring Carole King,Aretha comes out and kills a song written by Carole King in the ’60’s. Carole in the audience, curly blonde, and her reactions are priceless. Give it a listen. Hooper

Hey, I apologize for throwing the Rolling Stones into this thread above. At the time I thought that reports of her demise were exaggerated and she was home laughing with family and friends.
This was always a favorite of mine:
