This was the opening scene from the first episode of "The Newsroom", Aaron Sorkin's series about a fictional cable news broadcast and the inner workings of a news room ("The West Wing" for newsies  ). IMO this was the high point of the show, it never really captured my interest. Daniels is a good actor, and clearly Sorkin stayed up late writing and rewriting this Emmy-buzz scene. TW |

I saw every episode. Great show. Jeff Daniels is outstanding.
