Some think AC/DC might be the best rock band ever. Their album Back in Black sold over 500 million records to be the 2nd most sold ever.

Who exactly thinks that AC/DC is the best rock n roll band ever? I would wonder if one of them is Spanky as he did create the post….. 🤔

I'm betting Spanky thinks Pink Floyd is the best rock band ever.

I like AC/DC. No pretensions, never pretended to be anything they weren't and many of their tunes are great "get fired up" music. Angus Young has a great stage presence, can play and Bon Scott was a pretty good front man. Brian Johnson while clearly trying to emulate Bon, did as well as anyone could expect in doing so.
I don't have them at or near the top, but they have a nice spot in my rock history.

What shoes said. Yes, nobody replaces Pink Floyd for my favorite. I think Jon Bon was a great frontman but died under very unusual circumstances. I have 2 friends who saw AC/DC live and say they went as so/so fans and left amazed at their stage presence and energy.
Jon Bon, after a night of heavy drinking, was found dead in his car. He had officiated on his own vomit according to officials. His official death certificate listed his death as a "misadventure".

Ok Mr. Hendry, you have been pretty mute on anything music so what kind of music do you listen to (if any). I'll guess either C&W or maybe Celtic Bagpipe tunes (not that there is anything wrong with that... lol... :>)

shoes summed it up very well....I like a lot of their music, and if you want to rock, they are hard to beat. I have never seen them, and probably wont now, though everyone I know who has been to one of their shows enthusiastically enjoyed them.
Brian Johnson currently lives on Bird Key FL, a couple of miles from our FL place. He shows up around Sarasota, and his residential contractor initially did work on a re-model for me. He had quite a few interesting stories, and spoke very highly of Johnson and his wife.

Used to listen to it all the time on the radio on my way to and from pony lessons in Krakow.

That's cool Bev. You really are a most interesting man Mr. Henry! Have you ever performed in a movie? I could have sworn I watched the credits to a movie called Fear w/ Mark Walberg and Reese Witherspoon and there was a minor part played by Bev Henry!

my grandson's favorite song since as far as he can remember-----playing my pinball machines while listening to this lp was a real treat for my grandchildren. If there had been a 5yo and under pinball mixed olympics, my grand-children would have been a VERY low seed....grandson is head of his class 2nd year law school--granddaughter vhead of her class masters psychology--go figure....... we do the best that we can........ \
