Hey shoes, just curious what you think of this year's class being inducted. I love Todd Rundgren's music but many being inducted I have never heard of. Not even sure what is considered rock n roll these days! But there will always be the Blues...

Spanky- I don't want to malign artists who might be favorites of others. I wouldn't' have chosen some of the inductees and I think, as you suggest, one can make a good case that the RRHoF has gone way beyond what I think of as Rock and Roll or even ROR roots music, but I guess that is subjective on my part.
I will say that the range of music that I appreciate has really expanded as I have gotten older. This very forum has been great in introducing me to some of that music.

haver never paid much attention to Todd or the RR HOF honestly did like his first band and their first lp(which is a collectible)

Wife is a Todd fan. Me not so much.
2021 Class of performers. Tina Turner Carole King The Go-Go’s JAY-Z Foo Fighters Todd Rundgren King was also a great songwriter, one of her first writing hits was "Chains" that was also covered by The Beatles.

As I reflect on it- this was a pretty good class. I didn't realize that Tina wasn't already in, a bit surprised by that.
