Touche Hoop! I have never been a fan of country music. I like artists like Bonnie Rait, etc... But I do like this song. Would this be considered Country & Western?

Dolly Parton is the godmother of Miley Cyrus. Useless trivia.

Some reggae from the 80's.
And the river opens for the righteous, someday
I was walking with my brother And he wondered what's on my mind I said what I believe in my soul Ain't what I see with my eyes And we can't turn our backs this time I am a patriot, and I love my country Because my country is all I know I want to be with my family, the people who understand me I've got nowhere else to go

I gotta be honest Spider, the group name seems to be familiar but the music is unknown to me.
After a short research effort I know why their name is familiar.

Since this involves Crack the Sky and I just can't play their stuff at the moment so here's Buckethead's version of a song of that name.
Had tickets to see CTS. The concert gets postponed by a stint being put in the lead singer's heart. Now we're in standard time and Ina hates driving in the dark. I don't drive because of leg issues and I hated hand controls. Now this is a show I wanted to skip, saw them the year before. They are there every year But Ina insisted so it became a birthday present.
So Ina's freaking out. The morning of the show she can't drive both ways and we don't go. I'm annoyed because I really wanted to wait .... though the heart issue kind of softens that a bit.
Now the the 66 yd fg, it just doesn't happen ... Bobby Hird emails Ina who was in his sister's class and her friend so Ina knows Bobby. He was looking for her. She explained the panic attack.
Kick me in the nuts but he lives a few miles away and would have PICKED US UP. The only issue was that we had to sit through the band setting up for 3 hours and the concert. OMG hanging with the band for 4 hours, LOL and that's a problem.
I think I'll have Ina get in touch with Bobby next year. We can drive to his house. The thought of that is calming me down a bit
Well given the state of the world this might fit and what I should do next year concert wise ... GO. I can play this because I have no idea what album this is on. Bobby is the guitarist on the right.
Acoustic versions at a money raiser, Oh and hi ,,,, really needed to vent. Slow on horses lately and dealing with new phone which I only bought to get concert tickets grrr (no paper tickets) and a new computer to replace the one I had to tape together. The keyboard finally went. The dalmatian tossed across the room and cracked the frame
John Palumbo was so pissed with the label they have a new singer for their second album, the songs written by John. Line up wise they change a bit, a horn section on a couple albums. Their first album was Tops at Rolling Stone for a new group ... 48th best progressive band (ever)there too behind Floyd.
I think I have Martin Barre tickets, Tull's bassist. That's a covid issue at the moment. I've got to look at the Zombies. Should have gone the last time. I have a friend/driver who will go to both shows
