Time to get real serious on bustin' the book. I recall when Roger Goodell warned that betting on the NFL games would "destroy the integrity of the game. Now he has teamed with places like Draft Kings to promote gambling. My how the times are a changin'.

$2 is $ bucks! Dem Cowboys sucked for sure BUT those Bungles were....well...now, We have the Dallas/Houston thing here in the Lone Star State. You have the Bengals/Browns. The Cowboys have multiple rings. The Browns/Bengals...not so much. Not a knock on the Bengals. Paul Brown was a favorite of mine back in the day. Loved Ken Anderson. The Icky Shuffle was cool. Cleveland had the best RB in NFL history in Jim Brown. Just my opinion. What's your opinion on Baker Mayfield spider? Nothing wrong with making some $ doing commercials, in fact, I think he does them well. But Can he lead a team to the Super Bowl? You may wanna check your arithmetic Mr. Hendry.

Cowboys were a complete no-show yesterday, going down 30-0 before scoring late in garbage time. Hard to understand that home field effort. Baker Mayfield? Not overly impressed. Not an accurate thrower, and a little loose with the ball. Not a great decision-maker or play-caller. CAn they win a Super Bowl with him? Doubtful however the surrounding talent is pretty good if they would ever play to potential.
Beckham dropped a few balls, however Mayfield missed him wide open frequently. Don't blame Beckham for wanting out, however last season and yesterday they seem to play better without him.

Here’s the arithmetic Spanky
Jacksonville +25 Cincinnati -28 Miami +30 Raiders Push Atlanta +30 San Francisco -55
Total +2
Where have I gone wrong ? 😉

I stand corrected Mr. Hendry. But can we all agree that the Bears got hosed by the zebras vs. the Steelers? Seems like Pittsburgh always gets the close calls. Dallas gets their fair share as well. Justin Tucker booted a 66 yard FG. Could a 70 yarder be next? Maybe in Denver?

No matter the sport , the big teams are always going to get the benefit of the calls …same in soccer 😉
