Under Card Talk

We're pretty focused on the 14 Breeders Cup races, but some thoughts on any of the under card races ?


Saturday race 2 :   Kind of like Tizamagician here. Lone Rock(6-5 ML) is one nice claim for $40,000 earning almost $600,000 since. Coming off a loss in five horse field(at 1-9)  and trying DM for the first time, I'll play against. Tiz is a Spendthrift with Mandella training on home court. 7-2-3-0. Last two races beat by three runners in the Classic today. Has that win,lose,win pattern (win next in pattern) Best number coming three back after traveling loss to Lone Rock at Belmont. Think we get best effort today(and that effort three back takes this).

Who do you like on the under cards ?

Taking a shot in today's 2nd race the Qatar Golden Mile on the turf with Birth of Cool and Frankie D up to ride.  Last out was pinned down on the rail and got little to no opportunity to run when it counted, Drayden had nowhere to go the last quarter and looked like he had some horse under him.  At 12-1 ML I'll give him a go.  Will use him with Degree of Risk who's adding blinkers and should save some more ground than his last outing, won by convincingly by Albahar who goes later today.  Lastly, Ready to Purrform...Rosario and Cox, two guys who are going pretty(!) good these days.
