5th - SPARKLE BLUE - although both Cox runners (Yin Yang and Maxine Machine) look tough, I’m going with Sparkle Blue. Broke maiden by 3 in an off the turfer and then ran well in a minor stake at Laurel, where she had an excuse. Love the breeding. Hard Spun on top and stakes dam Silk n’ Sapphine on bottom. Will spread all three in pick 3’s.
6th - TOP SEED - McGaughey runner has been working well for first start in 4 months. Shug has him ready to roll.
7th - HOPE IN HIM - well bet both times. Crushed a maiden field in a key race and then stopped at 8-5 in a restricted stake at Gulfstream. Working great and hoping he can be the speed of the speed. Probably going to hit the all button to lead off a pick 3 into the 8th and 9th.
8th - SCARLETT SKY - another Shug horse who should be ready to roll. Won a stake over the track in April. Will also use Point Me By, Yes This Time, and Camp Hope.
9th - KING FURY - you know I’ve been on this horse since day one. Had some blips at Saratoga but got back on track. Hoping to get 7-2. I’ve also been a huge Code of Honor fan (Shug again) but he never seems to get it done. Maybe some class relief might help. I’ll use both in pick 3’s.
Good Luck Steve

Tough luck, Steve—thought the race might be too short(and muddy) for the Shug runner( who was by far best in the race.
Like Nakatoni in the next based off the maiden win over a classy stablemate in the mud on this track.
Can’t argue with your other selections.
So far, star of the day imo is 2yof North County. 2 starts turf and mud—-ran the same race both times—-calmly rated then through and by like there was no one else in the race….

Code of Honor's last career start before heading to Lane's End. Can picture him rallying down the middle of a sloppy track at 7-2 or above. Good luck.

North County is owned by Bruno De Julio, guessing the stable cashed a nice bet.

Not sure I like Code on such a sloppy track.
Fed Biz or Night Ops for me I guess, going off the beaten track here as the mud is so bad.
