Pipeline beat Cody’s Wish by six lengths last time, but he is 5/2 and CW is 4/5? Triple 7/1246/All
Triple pays: $66.50 for a buck. I did it right for once. On dirt.

Yep. Seems like quite a few left or were furloughed until Belmont, which doesn’t start until Sept. 16th.

Charlton Baker Appreciation Day.
Talked to him outside the winner’s circle, he said Cilla has only been in his barn for a few days since shipping up from DEL. Barn magic is working today.

Your photographs are so wonderful... Thank you! Not pictured here, I'm wondering who the pretty little blonde girl is walking the 4 horse in the public sector race.

As far as the Pletcher horse "blonde", I wondered if it might be his daughter, as the whole family is active around the barn. But she is a college student and would likely be back at school now. However, while I was looking into it, I came across this image by Martin Benjamin. That's little Hannah Pletcher with Mary Lou Whitney. Wonderful photo! TW

What other forum on horse racing provides this kind of first hand on the ground coverage ? None! Everyone having a great day, great pictures. What a difference a year makes.

Your photographs are so wonderful... Thank you! Not pictured here, I'm wondering who the pretty little blonde girl is walking the 4 horse in the public sector race. I just realized that the blonde Pletcher assistant that Dell is referring to is the young woman leading the 8 horse in the fourth picture in this thread, the bargain basement 'Into Mischief" colt Ashaar. There's some resemblance between the two... In a related note, we went looking for smallMac to wish him well and thank him for sharing his experience/knowledge with us throughout the meet, as it was our last day on track. He's sharp, funny and has a wealth of racing knowledge already for a young guy. I expect big things from, and for, him. We popped into the racing office, but it was empty. Knowing that they head to the paddock for stakes races, we went over and sure enough he was there, speaking with a well-dressed fellow with a gold tie. As the two parted ways, the tie-guy came right past us. It was Christophe Clement, just making some small talk with Rob. Probably in French, too . Rob told us that the Pletcher horse in the second race, the Into Mischief bargain, went to trainer Wayne Potts after a 15-way shake. Two others were claimed out of the race as well. TW
