Haven't heard much new lately--however the CD of this live show is outstanding. Susan T and Derek T + Doyle Bramhall(from EC's band), the guitarist from fish and a well played trio of horns do the entire album of Layla in order. As always, Trucks is incredible. See for yourself on the closing tune.....

Outstanding, his slide work is so smooth. All the connections back to Derek and the Dominoes are cool too: Trucks' first name, uncle drummer from the Allmans and Duane, Clapton represented. Hard to believe Layla was released in 1970, even harder to believe it wasn't much of a success at first. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Layla_and_Other_Assorted_Love_SongsTW

wasfortunate to see the original twice in a two-week span(Cincy Music Hall Detroit Eastown Ballroom). Two completely different set lists!
