If you're interested or collects these items, the US Marshals Service has apparently confiscated about 500 items from some companies or individuals that sold electronics comic art and comic books and jewelry. Theres about 500 itens to be auctioned - if you're interested.

Thanks for the post BTN...I am an avid comic book collector. I have several thousand but only a handful of what I consider valuable. Tricky business.

Thanks for the link. They have some nice books on there, out of my reach though.
Spanky sounds like you and I have a similar collection. We'll have to talk sometime.

I have an interesting collection of “underground” comix from the late 60s and 70s—-Zap, Freak Brothers, Chechen Wizard etc… Robert Crumb, Gilbert Shelton, Vaughan Bode etc…
Anyone ever read those?

Never seen those spider but I did find the #2 and #3 issues of MAD magazine. I gave them to my dentist friend of mine for doing a ton of free dental work on me and my sons. We should visit Bill. Its the same thing with my baseball card collection. I know spider has some sweet cards. I saw where a rookie Mantle card in prime condition went for 1.5 million in some auction. People collect some strange stuff as well...lol...

Being the curious type, I dug out the comic boods. Most are in bags with a piece of cardboard in it. There's about 75 of them and about 40 ok them were "Youngblood" which I assume is the star character. I checked 3 of them and one was "team youngblood" vol. 1 no 1 sept 1993" Another Youngblood - Strikefile - Ebay has a used one for sale for $80.00. They belong to my son so hd can research the rest of there. There as about 25 Marsels in the mix too and I assume those could be of some value.

BTN- When researching prices on Ebay make sure to check the "sold" auctions. This will give you a more accurate idea of the value of a comic.

I've never been on Ebay so thanks for that reminder. My son has sold a ton of stuff there. Never been burned as far as I know...
