R2- 1m2f (July) Handicap (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) (3yo 0-105)
1- Foxes Tales (3-1) and 2- Inigo Jones (7-1) are both lightly-raced, progressive 3yos. Foxes Tales could be the favorite, and is the more accomplished of the two, but Inigo Jones was very impressive FTT, finishing third behind the exciting Mohaafeth, which won the Hampton Court at Royal Ascot in his next start. Taken to improve again today.
EX- 1,2/1,2,4,5,6
R3- 6f (July) Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2) (Fillies) (Class 1) (2yo)
6- Oscula (4-1) and 8- Sandrine (8-5) were third and first in the Albany S. at Royal Ascot, normally they can be vulnerable to new shooters in their next starts, but only looker is 1- Desert Dreamer (12-1) which has a course & distance win last out.
EX- 6,8/1,2,4,6,8
R4- 1m6f (July) bet365 Trophy (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) (4yo+)
Was hoping scratches could reduce the cost of the ticket, but no help there, field of 15 goes. 6- Global Storm (5-1) has run three solid races since returning from Dubai, Godolphin/Appleby/Doyle at the controls. 15- Prince Alex (8-1) has been slowly progressive in his ten starts, winning five times. Gets in pretty light and looks to be shaping into a big race. Spreading wide underneath.
EX- 6,15/2,3,6,7,8,12,15,16
R5- 1m (July) Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Fillies & Mares) (Class 1) (3yo+)
This is a great race, bringing together some of the better older fillies and mares with the 3yos exiting the Spring classics. Tough to separate them. 2- Indie Angel (15-1) has really improved this year as a 4yo, with a big win in the Duke of Cambridge (GII) at Royal Ascot last time. Gets Frankie back aboard in her first try at the top-level. 5- Queen Power (12-1) 5yo mare is as consistent as they come, has some fine stakes efforts on the resume, repeat of her York race two back could stifle these. 6- Alcohol Free (3-1) seems to be the top 3yo filly miler, has a win here and a close-up fifth in the Guineas. I'll have a nice win ticket on 1- Champers Elysees (15-1) in case her improved effort at Royal Ascot means she's coming into form like last summer.
EX- 2,5,6/1,2,3,5,6,9,13 WIN- 1
R6- 7f (July) Handicap (Class 3) (3yo+ 0-90)
So after declarations and scratches its down to a field of eight. 3- Dulas (6-1) ran poorly at Epsom, but otherwise has a good season going, seems more accomplished than many of these. Ryan Moore does the steering.
EX- 3/5,8,10
Good luck if you play!
