So Colleen and I stayed overnight at the Saratoga Casino Hotel on Sunday. We had drinks and dinner at Morton's, and while we were eating two guys took the table next to us. I recognized the one guy right away, but couldn't put a name with the face. They were talking shop (horse racing), and dropping names left and right. We paid our check before I could properly eavesdrop, so I left it at that. Yesterday, I was looking through the NYRA Media Guide and lo and behold, there he was, the first guy on the trainers list. Jorge Abreu (page 47). He was running a horse in the Niagara Stakes at Finger Lakes the next day, and must have stopped in Saratoga to check on his barn for the upcoming meet. They ended up getting second money in the race with Summer Brew. TW

Hobbin' & Knobbin'... an evening out with Madameblum, you're a lucky man! What did you two have for dinner? Must be nice to actually eat in a restaurant.
Here's today's live feed from Finger Lakes...

Here's today's live feed from Finger Lakes... Dinner for two, four-course special was $109. Appetizer, salad, entree w/side to share (filet mignon for Mr., Chicken Christopher for Mrs., lobster mac side) and dessert. With drinks and tip it came to something like $195. All paid for by Mr. Hot Hits: TW
