I have been a Packers fan my whole life or when I seen the Vince Lombardi Story starring Ernest Borgnine but their glory years that I watched on those old NFL films allowed to be enamored with the concept of winning and men like Bart Starr, Paul Hornung etc. So I did not get to seem them on Sundays back in the days of the Cowboys of the 70s and the Steelers etc. when it was NBC covering the AFC and CBS covering the NFC. Then I a caught a glimpse with Lynn Dickey at QB with the likes of a young James Lofton and John Jefferson at wideout and a good tight end by the name of Paul Koffman. Well this team won a wild card game and got to play the Cowboys in 78 losing a close game. Then years of misery until Lindy Infante and Dan Majorski, Edgar Bennett and a a young Leroy Butler but did not last. Then luck of all luck and a man by the name of Brett Favre comes along, Reggie White has his calling. Mike Holmgren arrives and the pack return to many years of glory and playoffs. Favre leaves over his threatning management to retire and the packers find this diamond in the rough, his name Aaron Rogers. So we flip the script again, and Aaron wants out. Very confused about star players thinking they are above the franchise and their decision making. The Packers management and ownership have screwed up and wasted some great football teams under Mike McCarthy rain and Ted Thompson. They should have won at least a 2nd championship. Now it seems they have done it again, so close to getting there, just a player or two perhaps and now having two of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game and only 1 super bowl to each of their credit. I think Mr. Rogers is not above the team or the organization. So as much as I have had the pleasure. Time to move on from him and arrogance.

Careful what you wish for Chuckster. You could wind up with Cam Newton as your qb.

How about when Drew Bledsoe led the Pats to multiple division titles, an AFC Championship, and a Super Bowl? Drew got injured and the next man up? Tom Brady. I don't like the Packers but Rogers is punking the fans and his teammates, some anyway. This new QB Love just may turn out to be great, who knows? Bledsoe actually played a few seasons for the Cowboys. I know we are not impressed with our newest coach from the Packers. But we are NEVER going to win again as long as Jerry Jones and his Family run the team.
Rogers girlfriend is not the hot imo...now Tony Romo's ......

Maybe he is walking away. News from yesterday.
Some sportsbooks have taken down any betting odds related to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers due to rumors and information about his possible retirement. DraftKings and PointsBet pulled NFC North odds, Packers win totals and more, but the first sportsbook to remove them was the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. The SuperBook is responsible for some of the markets closing. Sources tell The Action Network’s Darren Rovell that oddsmakers inside the SuperBook were told information about Rodgers possibly retiring by an informant who has been right about other news before. The book played it safe by taking the odds down. While others have followed suit, sportsbooks such as FanDuel, BetMGM and William Hill still have odds up on the Packers. That includes futures odds in the division, as well as Week 1 against the Saints. The Saints are 3-point favorites at some books, 2.5-point favorites at others. BetMGM’s total for the game is 50.5; William Hill is at 48.5.

I think he'll retire. He's jerked management, his team mates and a good amount of fans around. I find it amusing and I don't think he really wants to play football. He has all he needs to have a very happy life. And that is the key. He is the only one who knows what he wants. I think he and Steven A. Smith should call games on Fox Sports.

When you are a Lions fan (one of only 2 teams not to have played in a Super Bowl, it's hard to feel sorry for the Packers. At least Matt Stafford wasn't traded to Green Bay.

LOL @ shoes. I think we discussed this a long time ago but ya gotta love the Paper Lion. I think Stafford will light it up in LA this year.
