My Saratoga season began this morning at 6:01AM with the download of today's Saratoga Special. As the lead article stated, it was like Christmas in July.
I think that they are on a Thursday through Sunday publication schedule this year, with some extra editions during the Fasig-Tipton sales.
A great read for those who are going to the track and even more for those who wish that they were.

Great writing, great images, in-depth features, barn tours, and Sean Clancy's Cup Of Coffee. Best publication out there for Saratoga, by far, IMO.

Please be sure to read Sean Clancy's Cup of Coffee today, it is outstanding writing, and a poignant story. Page 30.

Sean Clancy does it again. Cup of Coffee, Page 34. Congratulations to the late Mrs. Chenery on her Hall of Fame induction.

Have known Sean and Joe for many years now getting to know them when they were steeplechase writers (Joe) and riders (Sean), including some extremely late nights and early mornings in Saratoga, or stumbling around Fells Point in MD during the NSA awards...how Joe Mc’d the next day is beyond me!
I remember the first Special ever, opening day in 2000, the day Macho Uno broke his maiden. I still wish I had a copy of that first edition. The Special is a must read throughout the meet. Sean’s book “Saratoga Days” isn’t a bad read either.
